The Task
Our task was a difficult one, how to develop a website for an international company that was to promote a wide range of employment opportunities and was to be visited by thousands of users at it's launch.
Tecnicas Reunidas is one of the leading international general contractors for engineering, procurement and construction of industrial and power generation plants particularly in the oil and gas sector. We were commissioned to build their new website to promote their Teesside MGT Power Plant.

Our task was a difficult one, how to develop a website for an international company that was to promote a wide range of employment opportunities and was to be visited by thousands of users at it's launch.
Our unique Project Discovery phase with key stakeholders allowed us to extract the key elements of the structure of the website. We designed a wireframe layout that clearly and easily identified the key page components the client wanted to display.
We designed a wireframe layout that clearly and easily identified the key page components the client wanted to display. This allowed us to establish the core elements that a user would be searching for on the website ensuring information was available quickly and easily.
We employed a clean layout ensuring key information was easy to find. Colours were reflective of the Tecnicas Reunidas brand and imagery was restricted to Teesport aerial views and artist visuals of the power plant.
One of the key aims of the site was to publicise employment and contractor opportunities. Therefore we created a layout solution that could not only display the opportunities but the CMS we built alos ensured the clients admin team could easily post the opportunities quickly and easily.
We also created an interactive 3D plan of the power plant showing various parts of the plant via a rollover feature with explanatory text. This full web build was also created to be mobile responsive.
This website proved so successful that Tecnicas Reunidas commissioned us to develop a similar site for another power plant project they were developing in Mexico, visit that sister website here: Tecnicas Reunidas Mexico Power Plant Website
