Studio 109, Coworking space

Studio 109 is Middlesbrough's newest creative co-working space. The space is the converted, 100 year old Parish Hall of the nearby St. John's Church and fabricated with Dorman Long steel, the foundation of many iconic buildings built in Teesside. The client was looking for an agency that could create an adaptive brand that would reflect the values they wanted to convey to tenants and visitors, that of a warm, friendly, down-to-earth space. The building offers tenants an alternative to over priced, clinical looking office buildings and a vibrant, community space to develop mutually beneficial collaborations.

In the design of the new branding the client was looking for a reference to the famous 70s New York club Studio 54, our logo development explored multiple permutations with the resulting logo shown here. A sophisticated colour palette was defined and once the client was happy we then designed a range of branded products and stationery including the building signage.
