As part of BGP Consulting’s wider brand transformation, we set out to develop a new logo that would express the company’s engineering focus with clarity, confidence and a strong sense of regional identity.

Understanding the foundations
Our process began with an in-depth exploration of BGP Consulting’s mission, values, and technical reputation. From their commitment to precision engineering to their long-established presence in the North East, we distilled the characteristics that truly define who they are: strength, reliability and uncompromising attention to detail.

Designing a mark with structural integrity

The final symbol draws directly from the company’s engineering heritage. Bold, angled shapes subtly articulate the BGP abbreviation while echoing the structural integrity of a truss, a deliberate reference to the strength, support and technical expertise at the core of their consultancy work. This geometric foundation reinforces both the stability of the business and the engineered thinking that drives every project. Precision-cut angles within the design further emphasise accuracy and methodical execution, communicating BGP Consulting’s high standards and rigorous approach to problem-solving.

A directional nod to the North East

A subtle arrow, seamlessly integrated into the geometry, points North East. This detail not only pays homage to the company’s roots but also represents ambition, progress and forward momentum, a visual cue aligned with BGP’s growth across the UK.

The resulting logo is both robust and elegant, balancing architectural strength with a clear, directional identity.
